Unipicker certified draw

Certified Draw is a paid draw service Unipicker provides so you can run an even fairer draw.

Uniqueness guarantee

Unique draw certification code

To prevent an organizer from using multiple accounts, every draw is issued its own certification code. That code guarantees the draw is unique across all of Unipicker.

The code is printed the same way on the draw screen, the draw certificate, and the draw-ledger page. Line up all three and compare the codes, and you can confirm they all belong to the same single draw.
Certified Draw types

The more fairness added, the higher the certification tier

Certified Draw comes in 3 types.

CERT-CDEDraw that issues a unique certification code
CERT-UNIDraw run by a Unipicker manager
CERT-PUBUnipicker on-site public draw
YouTube live draw
Fairness rises in the order CERT-CDE < CERT-UNI < CERT-PUB. A manager-run draw (CERT-UNI) is fair enough on its own, but CERT-PUB opens the whole process on-site and live so anyone can watch directly, making it the fairest tier.
Managed-draw retention

Unipicker keeps managed-draw results offline and secure for 2 years

CERT-CDE is run directly by the organizer, while CERT-UNI · CERT-PUB are run by a Unipicker manager on the organizer's behalf. For these two managed draws, Unipicker keeps the draw results on a USB drive, offline, for 2 years even after the draw ends.

If a complaint comes up afterward, the retained original draw files can be used to reproduce the draw exactly and re-verify the result.
Ledger registration

Ledger draws vs. Certified Draw — the difference is the certificate

Certified Draw also gets its record registered automatically, just like a regular ledger draw. Its ledger entry additionally logs the certification code used, plus a certificate that uses that code to guarantee the draw is unique across all of Unipicker.
