Privacy Policy

The UniPicker Privacy Policy refers to the personal information protection guidelines that UniPicker must comply with in order to protect the rights and interests of users of "UniPicker Software" so that Members can receive the Service with peace of mind. Member information is protected in accordance with a thorough security policy. In order to guarantee freedom and use of communications in the information society, UniPicker sets forth its Privacy Policy as follows.

The Privacy Policy may change in accordance with changes to government laws and guidelines and changes in policy.
Members are advised to check it from time to time when visiting the site (https://www.unipicker.com).
1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The purpose of these Terms is to set forth the details and other necessary matters concerning the use of the "UniPicker Software" (hereinafter the "Service") provided by UniPicker Inc. (hereinafter the "Service Provider") to service users (hereinafter "Members").
2. Personal Information Collected and Collection Method
UniPicker collects the most essential personal information necessary to provide the Service when a Member first registers. The information collected at registration is the email address and name. If a Member registers with a Google account, the email address of the Google account is collected. In addition to this, additional information is requested for specific services. Additional information may also be requested for the purpose of providing new services and events. The information you provide is not used for any purpose other than providing the relevant service.
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
For as long as you receive the Service as a UniPicker member, your personal information is retained by UniPicker and used solely for the purpose of providing the Service. If a Member requests withdrawal of membership, the collected personal information is completely deleted from the hard disk by an unrecoverable method and is processed so that it cannot be viewed or used for any purpose.
4. Access to and Correction of Personal Information
Members may view or correct their registered personal information at any time. Members can view and correct their personal information through My Information > Edit in the "UniPicker Software".
5. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information
As a rule, UniPicker does not share Members' personal information. Exceptions apply when the Member has consented to disclosure, or when legal action is required against a person who, intentionally or not, uses the Service to cause legal harm to others or to act against public morals, and there is a request from a relevant government agency. UniPicker may share a Member's personal information with business partners to provide better services, such as customized services for individual Members. Even in such cases, before providing the information, UniPicker will inform the Member of who the business partner is, what information is needed and why, and until when and how it will be protected and managed, and will obtain the Member's consent. If the Member does not consent, UniPicker will not collect additional information or share it with business partners.
6. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
As a rule, a user's personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collecting and using the personal information has been achieved.
However, the following information is retained for the periods specified below for the reasons stated.

A. Grounds for Retention of Information under Company Internal Policy

B. Grounds for Retention of Information under Relevant Laws

Where it is necessary to retain information in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws such as the Commercial Act and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the company retains Member information for a certain period prescribed by the relevant laws. In such cases, the company uses the retained information only for the purpose of such retention, and the retention periods are as follows.

- Records of contracts or withdrawal of applications, etc.

Retention period: 6 months

- Records of website visits
Reason for retention: Protection of Communications Secrets Act
Retention period: 3 months

7. Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information
As for the destruction procedure, information entered by a user for purposes such as membership registration is transferred to a separate DB (or a separate document file in the case of paper) after the purpose has been achieved, and is stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policy and information protection grounds under other relevant laws (refer to the retention and use period) before being destroyed, and is not used for any purpose other than retention except as required by law. As for the destruction method, personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration, and personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using a technical method that makes the records unrecoverable.
8. Regarding Personal Information Protection
UniPicker's personal information protection is secured by "Google login or email login (email, login code, or password)" (hereinafter "login information"). Only the Member knows the Member's login information, and the verification and modification of personal information are possible only by the Member who knows the login information. Therefore, a Member's login information must not be disclosed to anyone, and the Member bears the responsibility for keeping it confidential.
In the case of email login, Members who use a registered password rather than a login code are advised to avoid easily guessable passwords and to change their passwords regularly. After completing your work, it is advisable to log out and close the "UniPicker Software".
When processing personal information at a Member's request, such as for a password, we do our best to verify identity through various available methods and to process it securely.

In processing users' personal information, UniPicker has established the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information so that it is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered, or damaged.

  1. Users' passwords are encrypted so that no one but the user can know them.
  2. We enable personal information to be transmitted securely over the network through encrypted communication.
  3. We do our best to prevent users' personal information from being leaked or damaged by hacking, computer viruses, and the like.
  4. We back up data from time to time in preparation for damage to personal information.
  5. We continuously strive to strengthen security through measures such as access control, privilege management, and vulnerability inspection of the system.
  6. We limit access to users' personal information to the minimum number of personnel and regularly provide training on personal information protection obligations to those who handle personal information.
  7. A department dedicated to personal information protection checks compliance with the Privacy Policy and internal regulations, and strives to correct any problems immediately if they are found.
  8. The company is not liable for damages not attributable to the company, such as accidents resulting from the user's own negligence or occurring in areas not managed by the company.
9. Policy on Collection and Retention of Draw Materials for Public Draws and Manager Agency Draws
Entrant information is used in files that have been blinded (e.g., Hong*-dong) so that individuals cannot be identified.
Draw materials (entrant information, draw setting information, draw certificate, draw result Excel file, draw video) are stored on a USB and retained offline for 2 years.
After the retention period elapses, they are completely destroyed so that they cannot be recovered or restored.
10. Policy on Collection of Draw Information for UniPicker User Statistics
UniPicker collects user statistics data (draw name, number of entrants, draw setting information) to improve the Service.
We do not collect the entrant information registered by users to conduct draws in the "UniPicker Software".
11. Personal Information Protection Officer
If you have any comments regarding personal information, you may report them to the Personal Information Protection Officer, and we will respond promptly and adequately to Members' reports.
